Executive Management Team
Phil Kearns Managing Director
Phil has more than ten years of experience leading financial service organisations, headlined by his previous position as Chief Executive Officer at Centric Wealth, as well as senior positions across divisions at Investec, the South African-based investment bank.
Whilst at Centric Wealth, Phil has been instrumental in building the corporate and private bank client base and introducing investors to innovative opportunities, including property and other alternative investments. Phil has helped transform InterRISK into a multimillion dollar business.
Bernard Cass Managing Director, InterRISK Global Pty Ltd
Bernard brings more than 25 years of insurance industry experience in designing, marketing and placement of corporate accounts both within Australia and Internationally to InterRISK.
For more than 12 years, he managed the Australian new business and broking team of Jardine Lloyd Thompson, with particular emphasis on property, manufacturing and service based industries. He also developed and managed the Jardine Lloyd Thompson tourism and leisure division for clients including The ACCOR group, Thakral Holdings Pty Ltd, City Freefolds Pty Ltd, Blue Line cruises Pty Ltd and Tourism Asset Holdings.
Bernard holds a Diploma Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and a QPIB.
Danny Gluszkiewicz Managing Director, InterRISK Queensland Pty Ltd
Danny has been part of InterRISK since 2005 and has been involved in all aspects of the business from client management to business strategy.
In 2009, he was appointed as Managing Director of InterRISK Queensland Pty Ltd. Danny is focused on creating value for our clients, securing competitive premium rates and advising on ‘best practice’ insurance programmes together with risk management strategies in accordance with Principle 7 of the ASX Corporate Governance Principles. Through our global broking network he has been successful in implementing insurance programme design, technical evaluations involving mergers, acquisition and divestments and facilitating risk profiling workshops for our clients.
Danny has a Diploma of Financial Services from the National Insurance Brokers Association and is a Senior Associate of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance.
John Mutton Managing Principal
John has extensive experience in the insurance industry including underwriting, broking and risk analysis. He has developed a strong expertise in the corporate real estate sector and has worked with many private and ASX listed Australian companies.
John joined InterRISK in 2005 and currently leads the general insurance activities of our Victorian operation as well as InterRISK Consulting. He is experienced in tailoring insurance broking services to many industries including Real Estate, Logistics, Manufacturing, Food Processing, Port and Channel Operators, Aged Care and Recruitment.
John has a Graduate Diploma of Financial Services, a Master of Risk & Insurance and a Master of Commercial Law. He is a Fellow & Certified Insurance Professional at ANZIIF, a Fellow at NIBA and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Joe Zammit Managing Principal
Joe has 35 years of broking experience having worked the majority of time within the international broking fraternity and recently taking on the role of Managing Principal for the NSW business in the Sydney.
He has undertaken various client service and managerial roles with the responsibility of designing, placing and servicing a wide range of major national and international accounts in varying fields of real estate, food and beverage, retail, transport and manufacture.
With a special interest in the various fields of Business Interruption/Continuity, Liability and particularly Workers Compensation - having been a past Director of StateCover Limited (a specialised Workers Compensation Licence Holder on behalf of Local Government in NSW).
James Sinclair Managing Principal
With experience as a state manager for a multi-national broker and working as an advisor to senior executives and boards since 1993, James joined InterRISK in 2004.
James has arranged programs for a range of clients, from ASX100 through to small enterprises. Insurance for Warranty and Indemnity, Directors' & Officers' Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Crime, Professional Indemnity, Investment Management, Statutory Liability and Cyber are his specialities.
Jo Becker Head of People & Culture
Jo joined InterRISK in 2008 and has over fifteen years’ experience in the field of human resources across a number of industries including telecommunications, retail, financial services and insurance. In her role as Head of People & Culture, she is responsible for working across a range of activities that support InterRISK’s objective of being a great place to work.
It starts with sourcing the right candidates, then becomes all about providing the best possible opportunities for career growth through a number of avenues including utilising Orbit, InterRISK’s in-house Training & Development platform. More recently, we’ve been focussed on renewing our company values and developing initiatives to support an engaging company culture.
Jo holds a Bachelor of Business and a post-graduate Certificate in Employment Relations. She is currently undertaking her Masters in Human Resources
Marcia Ferreira Head of Finance
Marcia joined InterRISK in 2010 and leads the finance team within the InterRISK group.
Marcia is a finance professional with over 20 years of experience. She has held various senior finance roles across a diverse range of industries including Manufacturing, Telecommunications, IT and now Financial Services.
Marcia holds a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Accounting and is a qualified Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).
Christine Bryant Head of Operations
Christine started her career in the insurance broking industry in 1999 and is currently Head of Operations at InterRISK. Previous positions held include Senior Account Manager, HR and Compliance Officer and Compliance & Operations Manager.
In her role with InterRISK she has responsible for ensuring InterRISK operates effectively and efficiently. Likewise Christine is directly responsible for developing effective and robust compliance programs and reporting to InterRISK’s Board on all Compliance and Operational matters.
Christine holds a Batchelor of Business degree and Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking).

Stephen Rouvray Non-Executive Director
He has more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, covering general insurance, life insurance and investment management.
He was General Manager of ING Australia Holdings from 2002 to 2005 and Company Secretary of a number of ING subsidiaries from 1985 to 2005. He has been Company Secretary of Austbrokers since 1986.
Stephen has a Bachelor of Economics and is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.
Dennis Guy Chairman
Dennis has been a Director of InterRISK since its foundation in 2004 and was appointed Managing Director in May 2008.
Dennis has demonstrated success in business development in 40 years of service at senior levels of the insurance industry spanning Europe, USA, Australia and Asia. Dennis was chairman of Jardine Lloyd Thompson in Asia Pacific for more than 10 years and subsequently was a consultant to that company.
His current Directorships include Executive Health Solutions Pty Ltd, InterRISK Australia Pty Ltd and InterRISK Queensland Pty Ltd.
Fabian Pasquini Director
Fabian has over thirty years insurance industry experience in the general underwriting and broking sectors. Prior to joining AUB Group in 1999, Fabian held senior management roles with NZI (now CGU) in sales and operational divisions, and also had an eight year career in broking. He has previously acted as Regional Operations Manager representing Austbrokers on several of its partner firm boards.
He is a Senior Associate & Certified Insurance Professional of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance and has participated as a member and Chairman of the National Insurance Brokers Association (Vic) Committee.
Fabian has a Diploma of Business Management (Deakin University) and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He holds an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker).
Peter Wyatt Director (InterRISK Queensland)
Peter is a Director and founder of our Queensland operation and has been involved with the insurance industry in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region for over 25 years.
The former Managing Director and major shareholder of Wyatt Gallagher Bassett he is both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Loss Adjuster. Peter has a high level of understanding of the claims process, particularly for catastrophe losses, and brings that knowledge to InterRISK’s clients when their insurance policies are called upon to respond to a major claim.
Peter’s current directorships include Auscript Group Limited, InterRISK Australia Pty Ltd and InterRISK Queensland Pty Ltd (Chairman).
