In addition, the cost of a replacement vehicle is covered for up to $1500 after an accident, and 21 days following theft. Choice of repairer is assured and no excess is payable if you are not at fault.
Electrical contractors are finding asbestos in switchboards, meter panels and within Telstra pits. Activities such as drilling, cutting or sanding asbestos materials release the fibres into the air. Standard liability policies have an absolute exclusion for asbestos-related risks. At the very least, this exclusion means you will not be covered for any asbestos-related claims involving contamination, clean-up costs, loss of use of the premises (consequential loss) and injury.
Asbestos liability insurance is relevant for both asbestos removal contractors and tradesmen who are working in environments containing asbestos.
